STARTup SOMETHING

STARTup SOMETHING, a project of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, is a series of visits to local, technology-based start-up companies designed to teach resilience to youth facing adversity, to introduce them to the concept of entrepreneurship, and to expose them to emerging ideas and career paths in the technology sector. During each visit to companies and incubators like iTwixie, Thread International and Idea Foundry, the youth and their mentors share in an interactive educational experience structured around the life-cycle stages of start-up companies.
