The mission of Oakland Planning and Development Corporation (OPDC)’s School 2 Career program is to ensure at-risk students from Pittsburgh’s urban core have the support to graduate from high school prepared to pursue a career and post-secondary education. School 2 Career accomplishes this goal through collaboration with the family, the school, employers and the community. Staff provides one-on-one mentoring, job development and career exploration, while teaching the students important virtues such as dependability, accountability and responsibility. 100% of our students graduate from high school, get into college, and are Pittsburgh Promise eligible.
