Introduction to Solidworks and Design from CMU Robotics Institute Girls of Steel with Sarah Heinz House, City Charter High School, and University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering. Playlists and badges will enable learners to design and fabricate robotics parts for competitions and collaborations.

The goal of the playlist is to teach students computer aided design (CAD). The playlist provides an opportunity for an otherwise competitive selection of organizations to work together to help their learners. Once learners have earned the XPs in the playlist, they will earn the “Solidworks Competency 1” badge. This badge will enable learners to fabricate pieces for competitions at local shops and use other rapid prototyping technologies.
