Future Makers: Build a Bright Future program engages Hill District and Oakland youth via monthly workshops. These hands-on events are career-focused in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), business, arts, health care, and college preparation. Students prepare for 21st century careers through actively planning their futures. Future Makers offers programming the first two Saturdays per month. The maker days are engaging, and the activities relate to real-world careers.
