Sister Linda Yankoski is a champion for children as demonstrated by more than 40 years of service at Holy Family Institute (HFI). Sister Linda has led a team to remake how social services are delivered based on trends and community needs. HFI has adapted its programs and services to meet the dynamic challenges faced in the region with the overall intent of reducing trauma, promoting healing emotionally and physically, and providing a long term pathway to achieving personal goals.

In 2014 she and her team turned their attention to remaking how education is conceived, delivered, and assessed by establishing Nazareth Prep. Nazareth Prep is a Catholic school for students of all faiths and is focused on bridging the education to employment skills gap for students who have been traditionally untapped for STEAM careers. Nazareth Prep is a school that engages students in the community through the lens of work so teenagers can see clearly how they and their education connect to careers. Nazareth Prep partners with more than 100 businesses and nonprofit organizations through an innovative corporate internship program where students work one day a week all four years of high school. This partnership also provides sustainable funding, so all students receive scholarships.
