Debralyn Woodberry-Shaw, MSW, LSW graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Science. She moved to Pittsburgh, PA to obtain her Master’s in Social Work degree with a Children, Youth, and Families Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating with her MSW, Debralyn founded ELIE Circle, LLC. – a training and consulting business that equips individuals and organizations with a trauma-informed approach to address the undiagnosed and unnoticed trauma in our world.

Debralyn has created 25 hours of training materials on trauma-informed care grounded in research and her personal experiences. She is passionate about spreading trauma-informed care knowledge to those entities that work closely with young people but are not trained in child development and trauma work. Through her role as a contracted trainer for Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST), she is certified as a Youth Work Methods Series trainer and Simple Interactions facilitator.
