Since 2006, Judy Wellington has been President and CEO of the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia, working to advance STEAM education in the state’s capital of Charleston and affect the lives of underserved, low-performing students. Judy has had nearly three decades of experience in the cultural non-profit sector, working in art museums, science centers, zoos, aquariums and performing arts centers across West Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Wheaton College and holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University.
