Shawn is the co-founder of Hi-Tech Learning, a company dedicated to helping kids learn 21st century skills in a fun and exciting way. Among other things, he is in charge of technology, staff recruiting, training, supervision, curriculum development, and company vision.

Prior to Hi-Tech Learning, Shawn was a 4th/5th grade teacher in the Quaker Valley School District. During his time with the district, he developed real-world performance tasks in math to both challenge and engage students. Shawn designed numerous technology after-school programs and summer camps, including a FIRST® LEGO® League Robotics program for 4th and 5th graders that he ran successfully for 10 years. He also obtained National Board Certification, the highest credential in the teaching profession, while teaching for Quaker Valley.
