Madeline Vaill is a fourth year music educator at Allegheny Intermediate Unit #3. Soon after beginning her career at The Mon Valley School in 2019, she became passionate about creating new resources and opportunities in Music Education for special needs students. Madeline works with nearly the entire student body, varying in ages 5-21 and grades K-12.
Outside of school, Madeline teaches private music classes and lessons, including Pre-K and some individual special needs children. Combining her experiences at both her studio and school allows her to create comprehensive units that target functional, social, emotional, and music skills.
In the future, Madeline hopes to enroll in a Master’s of Music Education program with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorder. One of her core beliefs is that music is meant to be an all-inclusive experience, and has the ability to heal and change lives. Not only does she strive to provide an authentic music making experience, but she challenges her students on a daily basis to reach their own personal goals through the art of creating music.
