I am currently the superintendent for the Cornell School District. Previously, I was the high school principal at Cornell as well as a social studies teacher in the district. I am currently pursing my doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.
I am originally from Middlebury, Indiana and came to the Pittsburgh area when I came attended Robert Morris University. At Robert Morris University I was a member of the Men’s Basketball team and graduated with a teaching degree. After Robert Morris I taught in the Pittsburgh Public School system for one year then moved to Cornell High School where I taught social studies. While teaching I received a Master’s degree from Robert Morris University as well as my principal certification from Westminster College. I then became the high school principal at Cornell High School and have recently moved into the superintendent position. I am currently working towards my doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh and I am very fortunate for the opportunities I have had and for the individuals I have encountered along the way.
