Neil is a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a Masters of Educational Technology & Applied Learning Science, abbreviated METALS. After graduating from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2013, he started working as a software developer for a web and mobile development agency, a Fortune 1000 financial company, and then a marketing research and text analytics firm in Kansas City. During this time, he also worked with CoderDojo in Kansas City as a mentor and also at the University of Kansas – Edwards as a data analytics teaching assistant. Neil is an aspiring curriculum developer and experience designer applying the sum of his experiences to teach K-12 students how to code in formal and informal settings.
