Sudhir is passionate about creating economic value through quality educational products that can be accessed by all irrespective of their present economic and social status. He has a perfect blend of engineering and managerial skills arising out of his research in computer science around machine learning and image processing and entrepreneurial experience of setting up an e-learning company in India. He has also led a team of young and enthusiastic members to develop engaging content and create e-learning products for K-12 education and competitive examinations. To add to this practical experience in e-learning with a formal masters program at Carnegie Mellon University, he joined the METALS program at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a second masters degree in August 2020. He currently works for Carnegie Learning as a Technical Product Manager and is leading the product efforts to provide a home learning solution to the whole state of Texas. In addition to this, he is enthusiastic to bring the academia and industry together by using research based evidence in the design cycle of educational products. He believes that education must be relevant to a student’s goals and this can happen when students not only learn a concept but see how that concept comes to life in an interdisciplinary fashion. To see this harmony in knowledge is analogous to seeing God according to him!
