Melinda Siber is the STEM teacher at Marion and Rostraver Elementary Schools in the Belle Vernon Area School District. She teaches students in grades K-6. Melinda is the first STEM teacher to be hired at the elementary level in the Belle Vernon Area School District and has started to pave the way for students to be innovators, engineers, and collaborators. Her class incorporates hands-on, project based learning in order for students to learn how to work as a team and think outside of the box to solve problems. Students in Miss Siber’s classroom love creating from Maker Space, circuitry, and coding.
