Jesse Saunders business and technology teacher at Avella Jr./Sr. High School with an undergraduate degree in Business Communications from Grove City College and a masters degree in business education from Robert Morris University.
His goal is to be on the cutting edge of business and technology instruction. He’s interested in updating his knowledge of the latest software and trends in the technology field. Jesse teaches a wide variety of subjects to 7th-12th graders including Computer 7 (Google Apps for Education, Pixlr, TinkerCad, and Scratch), Game Maker (8th grade), Unity Game Programming, AP CS Principles, Computer Programming through Pitt’s College in High School, Web Design, Office 2013, Video Production, Broadcast Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Accounting.
Jesse also leads the school’s video news program and teach the Video Production and Broadcast Technology classes that provide live and taped material to be shown on local cable provider Hickory TV. He also works with the school’s student assistance program.
Before Avella, Jesse taught at City Charter High School for two years.
