Kelly is originally from the Lehigh Valley area on the eastern side of the state. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in biology and anthropology.

Kelly began with Venture Outdoors as the Youth Program Intern in January 2018. She stuck around with Venture Outdoors to become an Outdoor Educator. Before coming to Venture Outdoors, Kelly is an experienced camp counselor at Camp Wood Haven, a Girl Scout camp outside of Harrisburg. Kelly has loved showing kids the outdoors and helping them have new and exciting experiences in nature.

She is a certified Lifeguard and is a Level 2 American Canoe Association Coastal Kayaking Instructor. Kelly also completed Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Kelly loves exploring new trails and parks in the greater Pittsburgh Area and exploring the city on a run.
