Brandy teaches biology and anatomy for Rochester Area School District. For the past three school years, she has been a member of the Beaver County Innovation & Learning Consortium (BCILC), a cooperative of teachers in Beaver County at the forefront of the maker movement. Part of her duties as a member of this consortium have included the design and creation of her school’s maker space and continued professional development in the area of STEAM education. She is always looking for new and innovative ways to bring science to life for students, using a hands-on approach to learning that focuses on the student’s interests and needs.
