Kelly Pratt is a teacher in the Penn-Trafford School District. Now in her 13th year with the district, Kelly teaches second grade at Harrison Park Elementary School, where she focuses on designing relevant and engaging student-centered learning. Her personal interests include developing math and STEAM-related curriculum.

Kelly engages her second-grade students in STEAM workshops, coding lessons, problem-solving/collaborating through building/creation, code-breaking, and design challenges. Kelly also holds after-school workshops for students and girls in grades 2-5, targeting those who would not otherwise have the opportunity for science-oriented enrichment.

Kelly graduated from the University of Pittsburgh before continuing to pursue her teaching interests with her Reading Specialist certification and Masters in Elementary Education at Seton Hill University.
