She is a Charleston, West Virginia native and graduate of West Virginia University in Anthropology and Women’s and Gender Studies. Following her undergraduate career, she completed a year of service with the PACC* AmeriCorps VISTA program at the University of Pittsburgh. During her time at the University of Pittsburgh, she coordinated, evaluated, and constructed 3 community service-based programs in literacy, mentorship, and the arts. She is passionate about working within the non-profit sector, the arts, and within education. With these in mind, she strives for increased creativity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
