Thu-Nga Morris is the Assistant Head of School, Director of Academics, and Director of Upper School at St. Edmund’s Academy, a preschool through 8th grade co-educational independent school located in the heart of Squirrel Hill. With a rich background in teaching and educational leadership, Thu-Nga is committed to enhancing St. Edmund’s learner-centric approach through the thoughtful integration of content, 21st century core competencies, and character development. Prior to relocating to Pittsburgh, Thu-Nga taught science and served in various leadership capacities in K-12 schools in New York City. Thu-Nga has participated in numerous professional workshops, including the Klingenstein Summer Institute, Miss. Porter’s Administrative Leadership Seminar for Women, the Kingswood Oxford Institute, and the NAIS School Leadership Institute. She received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Bowdoin College and earned an MST in Adolescent Education at Pace University and an Ed.M. in Private School Leadership at Columbia University. She is currently working on a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania.
