Diane McGaffic has served 15 of her 22 years as an educator with Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV (MIU). She currently provides support to the 27 school districts located in the MIU’s three-county footprint, in the areas of STEM, career readiness, equity, school climate, ESL, gifted, curriculum, instructional coaching, and text dependent analysis. As a former STEM professional, holding a Master’s degree in both Biology and Curriculum, she is a strong advocate for STEM education and the PA State initiative to promote Computer Science. She is perpetually seeking pathways to broaden and deepen the impact of STEM throughout society.
