Alyssa always knew she wanted to be a teacher from the time taught her teddy bears from her own chalkboard while trying to replicate her teacher’s enthusiasm and kindness. Although she didn’t get to use a chalkboard during her teaching career, she worked with students in North Carolina and here in Pittsburgh.
As a teacher and now school implementation manager for EverFi, she felt that students were most successful when they felt confident and prepared to face challenges but also achieve to their highest potential.
As a school implementation, Alyssa provides training on web-based critical skills programming that supports the great things that teachers are doing already in the classroom. In partnership with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, she is available to provide programs to EVERY student in the state.
