Vishnu Maddipatla is an Elsie Hillman Honors Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in neuroscience and minoring in economics. At Remake Learning, he is spearheading the creation of a legislator profile database to aid members of the Remake Learning network with their political advocacy initiatives. Furthermore, he is also involved in the Personalized Learning Working Group and is facilitating conversation and generating awareness about personalized learning and its implementation within classrooms.

Vishnu’s passion for education innovation began during middle school when he became involved in robotics and created a low-cost robotics kit to increase accessibility of STEAM education to all students. To further explore this passion, Vishnu has previously worked at Assemble where he helped coordinate summer activities and lesson plans.

As an Elsie Hillman Scholar, Vishnu is interested in policymaking and advocacy associated with education innovation within Pennsylvania and hopes to create long-lasting impact within Remake Learning.
