Tess Lojacono is the CEO of Fine Art Miracles, Inc. (FAM), a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the cognitive, social and emotional benefits of fine art lessons, art & music therapy and social robot enhanced learning to children and adults with special needs. Tess founded FAM in 2007 in Western New York and relocated her family to Pittsburgh in 2013, with the goal of expanding the company.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Tess is imbued with a “can do” attitude, believing that there is nothing one cannot do with the proper energy, vision and belief. Her faith informs her leadership. In addition to having a mission to bring more attention to the elderly and to reach those people suffering from Alzheimers and dementia, Tess hopes to change the landscape of early learning, using social robots.
In her spare time, Tess likes to write. Her poetry and short stories have been published both in print and online, and she has also published two novels. Tess resides in Squirrel Hill with her husband and her two daughters.
