Olivia Kissel an inventive artist, educator, designer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience teaching and performing in diverse settings around the world. Olivia maintains a playful approach to inquiry that makes learning joyful, while cultivating a foundation for lifelong learning.

Olivia specializes in project-based learning that applies multidisciplinary concepts to fun, hands-on activities using a wide variety of materials, tools, and technology. She uses the Engineering Design Process as a tool for students to structure their thinking, while using high and low technology to activate and communicate learning. Working with real-world challenges, Olivia’s students become proficient in coding, robotics, and the Engineering Design Process: planning, testing, improving, and sharing their work. Her students work in teams to build prototypes, solve problems, engage with their community and environment, and challenge each other.
