Diane Karichko Papa is an avid lover of people, the outdoors, and all things music. She is a cyclist, a mother, a grandmother, and forever an educator.
In 2016, she transitioned from 33 fulfilling years in elementary school classrooms (private, public, and charter) to an equally gratifying calling with both Slippery Rock and Chatham Universities, where she educates, mentors, and supervises aspiring teacher candidates. She loves working with aspiring educators, sharing best practices and tips, encouraging them to be risk-takers and change-agents, and experiencing their learning curve with them.
Diane believes education must continue to evolve to match and meet the needs of an ever-changing population. She is passionate about preparing and empowering 21st century students to make an impact.
