Ginny Hunt Ed.D, Superintendent of Clairton City School District, ED Leaders 21, ED Leaders Pittsburgh, has introduced many new programs and initiatives in her educational career but none more important or exciting than ushering in the creative technology practices needed to ensure our young people are equipped for a successful future.
Ginny earned her B.S. degree from Indiana University (IUP) and her Doctorate degree from the University of Texas (UTEP). In Texas she worked as a teacher, assistant principal, principal and Executive Director of Professional Development.
Returning to the Pittsburgh area she worked as a Director of Curriculum & Federal Programs and Superintendent. Impressed by the educational, business and community effort to collaboratively encourage and support STEM implementation, she has joined Remake Learning and the Ed Leaders 21 Learning Community. Ginny is facilitating the Portrait of a Graduate initiative in the Clairton City Schools. Remake Learning is paving the way to 21st Century teaching, learning and leading in the Pittsburgh area.
