Carol Howard is a seasoned instructor in academic, corporate, and community environments, who relates well with audiences large and small; young and mature; those who are passionate about and hostile toward learning; and in any environment. Her key passion and strength involves guiding individuals in identifying the relevance and applicability of what they’re learning to their specific situation. This is achieved through interactive and thought-provoking learning activities.
While working in and with a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, Carol gained diverse industry experience. She has successfully managed numerous projects and is often called upon to provide coaching and counseling to students and colleagues.
Carol earned a Master of Science degree with a focus on Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from Geneva College. She also earned a Certificate of Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Certificates in Online Teaching from Penn State University and Learning House, Inc.
Carol holds certifications as a DDI Master Trainer, DDI Leadership & Workforce Development Facilitator; DDI Targeted Selection® Administrator; Hay Group Emotional Competence Inventory Administrator; Achieve Global Leadership & Workforce Development Facilitator; American Heart Association Instructor and Instructor Trainer.
