Mike Hladio has been teaching 8th grade Language Arts at Jefferson Middle School in the Mt. Lebanon School District since 2001. In 2015, he was recognized as a Keystone Technology Innovator by the Pennsylvania Association for Education Communications and Technology, and a Champion of Change by the Allegheny County Intermediate Unit.
Mr. Hladio believes in leveraging technology to amplify student voice, enhance collaboration, remove boundaries to learning, and provide students with choices and independent learning paths.
