Scott Hand

Scott Hand is the Director of Educational Technology in the Fox Chapel Area School District. Scott has worked for the district since August of 2003 when he was hired as a teacher in the media department. Scott has also served the district as an online learning specialist, a professional development facilitator, and a Classrooms for the Future (CFF) technology coach. He has been an adjunct professor at Point Park University and Robert Morris University’s graduate School of Education. Scott works in the community serving on the Southwestern Regional Council of Volunteers of America and has chaired the Television and Video Teachers Consortium. He has also worked inside of his community serving as a youth director, deacon, and elder at his church.

Scott graduated from Robert Morris University with degrees in English and Communications, continued with his master’s degree in Business Education at Robert Morris University, and is currently pursuing his doctoral degree studying distance education at Regent University.
