David Gordon is passionate teacher with several years of experience. After graduating with a degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, he spent the next 5 years in Washington, DC teaching STEM to students in grades 3-6. It was during this time that he discovered his love of facilitating student growth both academically and socially. During this time he also obtained his Masters in Teaching from The University of the District of Columbia. Eventually life called him back to Pittsburgh, the city of his alma mater, where he now works as an computer science educator.
David’s passions in education include the growth and development of the whole child, exploring and utilizing new technologies, and implementing project based learning opportunities. He works to ensure that students have the 21st century skills necessary to become successful members of an ever changing society.
