Sean Gillis is the IU1 Waynesburg science/special education teacher. Mr. Gillis takes a hands-on, visual approach to teaching his classes. He has a love of nature and helping the environment, which he passes along to his students. His classes raise trout in the classroom, go electro-fishing with Cal-U, plant trees for Earth Day, build bluebird boxes with the PA Game Commission, and have a small aquaponics setup.
