It is not just Brett’s line of work that puts him at the intersection of arts and science, but also his worldview. While Brett’s vocation is as an appraiser of businesses, Brett is – in general – driven by a desire to learn, and he pours his energy and effort into the areas of arts, education, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology.

Brett sits on the Advisory Committees for the Arts Education Collaborative and the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality Association. He serves on the boards for Assemble, Pace School and The Early Learning Institute (TELI); as a board member and partner/coach for Social Venture Partners Pittsburgh; and as the Treasurer for the Pittsburgh Entrepreneurs Forum and as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Product Development Management Association.
