Dr. Diane Fine is an Assistant Professor in the Childhood Education Department and serves as the graduate coordinator for the Integrative STEM Education and the Reading Specialist Programs at California University of Pennsylvania. Her research and teaching focus on integrating digital literacies and preparing educators to embrace a growth mindset and to thrive in our continually evolving science and technology rich society.

Prior to joining the faculty at Cal U, Dr. Fine taught in the field of education for over 20 years. She has taught at both the elementary and middle school levels in general education, special education, and as a reading specialist. She is passionate about teaching, learning, and inspiring the next generation of teachers. She takes great pride in empowering current and future teachers to become innovative educational leaders who understand how continually evolving state-of-the-art technologies can be leveraged to create a collaborative, student-centered learning environment. She strives to help all teachers become technologically proficient innovators and problem solvers ready to lead change in education.
