Carrie Douty is a high school life skills teacher in southwestern Pennsylvania. Her students have disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. Mrs. Douty believes that every student has a purpose. She is passionate about finding her students’ strengths and helping them find a vocation. Mrs. Douty is also a lifelong learner who promotes a love of learning and helping her fellow educators.
