Sharon is a doctoral student at the University of Pittsburgh studying informal learning spaces. She was a youth services librarian for 10 years before going back to school and is interested in how public libraries fit into the learning landscape of Pittsburgh. She is part of a NSF project to study professional development and youth services in Pittsburgh’s libraries.
