Erin strives to ignite a passion for creativity and innovation in youth by empowering them with the knowledge and know-how to create with, rather than just consume, technology. She thrives on opportunities to discuss the future of education with others. She has a passion for using technology to enhance education and a talent for collaborating with educators to attain this objective. She is an innovator, constantly looking for different ways to design, develop, and integrate technologies and believes student engagement is the key to student achievement.

She obtained a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Duquesne University. She has served as a Technology Integration Specialist and a Computer Science teacher for Avonworth School District and is now the Program Manager for CS Academy, a new project at Carnegie Mellon University with the goal of developing a novel, world-class, online, interactive high school computer science curriculum free for all to use. Additionally, she is an educational adviser for Digital Dream Labs, the Founder and President of CSTA Pittsburgh, and a Google for Education Certified Trainer.
