Kelli Canonge has been employed by Penn State University’s Office for the Vice Provost of Educational Equity since 2007, where she works hard toward closing the secondary achievement gap for marginalized students across the Commonwealth. While working primarily in New Kensington-Arnold School District, Kelli works closely with a team embedded in ten public school districts throughout the state to provide assistance to students identified as first generation and low income in matriculating to post-secondary education. Kelli is an experienced Access Coordinator with a demonstrated history of work in both the secondary and higher education industry. She is skilled in educational technology, student development, secondary admissions, career counseling, social media strategies, and educational program marketing. Kelli served on Penn State University’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity (CORED) and is an active member of the Mid-Eastern Association of Educational Opportunity Program. She has experience in both writing and managing Federal Department of Education Access Grants (TRIO).
