Manager of Marketing and Development at SLB Radio, Jennifer Baron joined  the production company in 2009 and is responsible for underwriting, foundation and corporate relations, marketing and public relations. Jennifer also works as Arts & Events Editor at NEXTpittsburgh and is a co-author of the Sprout-funded book, Pittsburgh Signs Project: 250 Signs of Western Pennsylvania (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2009).

An artist and musician herself, Jennifer performs with her band The Garment District and is a co-coordinator of Handmade Arcade, the region’s largest annual DIY craft fair. Before moving to NEXTpittsburgh, she held the position of Arts & Culture Editor at Pop City Media and worked as Education Director at the Mattress Factory, where she developed, implemented and managed all aspects of the museum’s K-12, adult, youth, and family programming.
