I am the Coordinator of Student Services, Grants, and Outside Funding for the McKeesport Area School District. I started my teaching career at Taylor Allderdice High School in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and then spent seven years teaching Language Arts at Founders’ Hall in the McKeesport Area School District.
I have served on many committees and in many different roles during my nine years within the MASD. For two years, I substituted as a principal at Founders’ Hall and Twin Rivers Intermediate. I was also a member of McKeesport’s Dress Code Committee, a chosen participant in the Student Learning Objectives Committee through the PA Department of Education, and an active member of the My Action Plan for Success Committee through the Consortium for Public Education. Some of my fondest memories outside of the classroom include having been the Varsity Assistant Coach for the McKeesport Lady’s Softball Team.
After having received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, I continued on to obtain my Master of Education from Carlow University then my Principal Certificate from California University of Pennsylvania. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Point Park University. I am a 1999 graduate of Woodland Hills High School.
