The Neighborhood Academy (TNA) is a faith-based, college preparatory, independent school whose mission is to break the cycle of generational poverty by empowering youth and preparing them for college and citizenship.

TNA aims to provide fulfilling opportunities to students that set them up for future success, which would have been otherwise inaccessible. During their 2020-2021 academic school year, they have provided 141 students in grades 6 through 12 with high-quality, educational opportunities and invested in their long-term futures by intervening at every level: academic, financial, psychosocial, spiritual, and physical.

TNA provides for the full academic lifecycle of a student, including, but not limited to, sports and athletics, arts programming, college preparation and application, meals and nutrition, individual and group counseling, supportive services to manage immediate and urgent needs, and once in a lifetime opportunities, such as traveling and touring domestic and international locations. TNA sees access to this programming as essential to character and morale building, high educational growth and attainment, and future professional opportunities in a career field of choice.
