TEALS helps high schools build and grow sustainable computer science programs by pairing trained computer science professionals – from across the tech industry – with classroom teachers to team-teach computer science. TEALS volunteers and partner teachers create a ripple effect, impacting the students they teach, and the many students who will study CS in the future. They have successfully worked with a wide array of teachers, who may or may not have computer science experience, to teach courses such as Intro to Computer Science, AP CS A, and AP CSP. Depending on the needs of the school, TEALS also supports school through education models: Co-teaching, Lab Support, and Classroom Enrichment.
