Sylvania Natives is a native plants nursery located in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The nursery’s mission is to locally grow and sell plants native to Western Pennsylvania grown from local seed sources; to educate about and advocate for the broad use of native plants on human occupied land to foster increasingly biodiverse and sustainable, ecologically based landscapes; and to be a financially self-sustaining operation.
