Sunburst School of Music has been providing music lessons, group programming, and performance opportunities to children and adults in the Pittsburgh area since 2011. In that time Sunburst has helped thousands of students discover and pursue their passion for music.

The instructors at Sunburst are focused on helping each student discover and pursue their passion for music. They encourage students to be creative with their music and make it their own via recording, songwriting, performance, and even music videos and visual components.

Sunburst is active in the local music scene, helping serious young musicians find their footing with in-house concert opportunities, connections to venues, other artists, and mentoring from their instructors. They offer students a variety of performance opportunities including sharing music at community events.

The school offers a number of innovative and creative group program offerings including their Sunburst Rocks programs, Explore Music program for early childhood, and project-based summer camps where kids write, record, and perform original material. Sunburst also offers scholarships for free lessons and group programs to children of low-income families.
