Slippery Rock Area Parks & Recreation provides a wide range of hands-on and engaging recreation and leisure programs for the entire community. Through partnerships with other members of the community, such as Slippery Rock Area School District and Slippery Rock University, the courses offered are enriching and relevant. In addition, many programs are offered after hours at Slippery Rock Elementary School, which alleviates the need for parents to travel in order for their children to participate in programs. Slippery Rock Area Parks & Recreation also makes every attempt possible to provide these opportunities at the lowest price possible for families.
