Saint Anne School, founded in 1894, is a private Catholic school located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. The school serves students from as many as seven different school districts. The families of Saint Anne School are multi-cultural and come from a variety of economic backgrounds. Many live in school districts with underperforming schools and for some, Saint Anne School is the only place where students are exposed to any kind of technology. Because of this, the school incorporates as much STEAM-based learning into its curriculum as possible, from kindergarten through 8th grade. Through this approach, Saint Anne School hopes to level the learning playing field and develop all of its students into 21st century learners with skills that will serve them well as they continue their academic careers.
