RNR Discovery & Learning Center (RNRDLC) is a fun, safe, educational resource for the Wheeling, WV community and surrounding areas. It’s a place where play, creativity, and learning coexist! Everyone is welcome and there is a no-tolerance bullying policy.
The center is 3,600 square feet of Lego ®, Lego education ®, duplo ®, megablocks ™, everblock ™, meeperbots ™, wonder workshop ™ dash, dots, and cue robots, plus two interactive floors. The Dash and Dot Robots along with Lego® education kits are portable and for use in classroom settings for pre-k through 5th grade, allowing mobilization and the ability to go into schools or other educational facilities. The two interactive floors provide play through movement and a great break between focused activities. There is room for parties, meetings, organizations, and room to host fundraisers and field trips.
Children are meant to learn through play, and RNRDLC offers a wide variety of hands on, interactive activities where creativity can grow and flourish. RNRDLC helps cultivate a child’s curious nature through the use of engaging technology, bricks of all sizes, and year-round programs that promote learning through play, plus STEM and STEAM concepts.
