Pittsburgh Musical Theater’s Richard E. Rauh Conservatory offers the finest training in the Pittsburgh area in dance, music, and theater for students ages 4 – 18.
The Broadway Jr. program is a musical theater preparation program for ages 4-7 in which students learn beginning dance, acting, and group vocal skills. Instructors also focus on building social skills and working together in an ensemble. The semester ends with a showcase presented for an audience of parents and friends.
In the Pre-Teen and Teen programs, students have a unique and amazing opportunity to work in a professional environment with their peers. Their singing, acting, and dancing skills develop in a disciplined classroom atmosphere. The students then test these skills in performance. The audience applause strengthens their self-confidence and positively reinforces their hard work.
The Pre-College Program provides an opportunity for intensive half-day training for students who are planning to pursue a career in the performing arts. Graduates have matriculated at Carnegie Mellon University, Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Point Park University, Yale, New York University, and more.
