Educators at Oak Glen Middle School work to accomplish the goal of serving as a role model STEM Innovation in Education school for the state of West Virginia. Educators at OGMS collaborate with community stakeholders to accomplish active learning through STEM-focused Project-based Learning, and Entrepreneurship. Job-embedded professional development occurs within grade level teams to accomplish interdisciplinary PBL. Not only are core and related arts courses becoming innovative via use of a Makerspace, but also new, innovative and STEM-focused courses have been established.
