The Northern Tier Regional Library serves a large geographic area comprised of Richland and Pine Townships in Allegheny County. This is a suburban area located about 25 minutes north of Pittsburgh, PA. The library serves a population of 23,000, including 10 preschool and day care centers, 3 elementary schools, 1 upper elementary school, 1 middle school and 1 high school. The library offers a great variety of resources both physical and digital as well as a wide array of educational programs that promote different literacies.
