Teachers focus on best practices that are aligned to the needs and interests of today’s digital students. Using 21st century skills to empower students to be collaborative learners, technology integration with 1:1 Chromebooks enables teachers to create lessons that include a variety of technology applications on a daily basis. With innovation in mind, teachers design STEM-based experiences that challenge students to solve problems and think critically in a team-oriented atmosphere.
NSIS’s focus at the intermediate level is on helping students learn the value of contributing as a member of a team. The school’s goal is to put students in situations that will lead to the acquisition of knowledge, thus transferring to a motivated and productive member of their community.
